Welcome to the website of Llangynin Community Council. The community council is the tier of local government that is closest to the community it serves. The community is the area covered by the map shown. This site is for that community. Please let us know how you feel this site might be improved or developed.
The Community Council currently has ONE vacancy for membership of the Council. Should you have an interest in being co-opted please contact the Clerk or any current member.  The Community Council would welcome interest and input from you.
The site provides information on the work of the council but also has pages for the groups in the community and links to other sites that have information useful to the community.

NOTICE OF RIGHT TO INSPECT ACCOUNTS - financial year ending March 2026. You have a right to inspect a range of papers relating to the accounts by appointment 6-31 July 2026. You also have the right to question the auditor from 14 Sept 2026. Full details are posted in the Finance Section of this website.  Any questions contact the clerk.

VACANCY for the post of clerk.  c 20 hours per month as the work requires but 240 hours per year. More details from the current clerk.  Full job description may be found currently on the Agendas page of the website.

Community council meetings are on the second Tuesday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November).

Meetings of Llangynin Community Council are held at the Bryn Chapel Hall at 7pm. The Agenda for the meeting may be downloaded from the Agendas page on this website. 
Community Council Meetings are public. You can attend in person or via Teams. Please email the clerk a reasonable period before the meeting if you would like a link to attend via Teams.
